Defense Shield
Defense Shield - A wall that an attacker must breach in order to stand a chance of winning the battle. Defense Shields absorb a certain amount of damage, based on their quality:
- Quality 1: 1 billion damage.
- Quality 2: 2 billion damage.
- Quality 3: 3 billion damage.
- Quality 4: 4 billion damage.
- Quality 5: 6 billion damage.
- Quality 6: 8 billion damage.
- Quality 7: 10 billion damage.
How does it work?
The Shield Bonus for each battle is finally divided between the divisions as follows:
- The shield is automatically active when a region is attacked.
- The attacked region will receive a defensive bonus consisting of damage points.
- The granted amount of damage points (Shield Bonus) is calculated by dividing the available Defense Shield Capacity to the number of regions in the country at the moment of the attack.
- The resulted Shield Bonus is always divided equally among the first 5 battles.
- The same resulted damage will be added to the influence bar of each of the 5 battles.
The Shield Bonus for each battle is finally divided between the divisions as follows:
- 1st Division: 5%
- 2nd Division: 10%
- 3rd Division: 15%
- 4th Division: 70%
Remaining damage:
- If the attacker deals during a battle less than the Shield Bonus, the remaining shield capacity will be reported to a designated fund.
- In the 6th battle, the damage from the designated fund is used. The damage is divided again between the divisions based on the previously stated percentages.
- This process continues until all shield capacity has been used.
- If by extreme circumstances there is Shield Bonus left at the end of the campaign, then the unused damage is reported back and will be used to counter future attacks.
Visual Representation:
- The Defense Shield will be displayed in the Military tab of each country.
- In battles where a Defense Shield is active, an icon will display the amount of shielded damage.
Example:
Israel has 15,000,000,000 damage left in its shield capacity and it owns 5 regions.
The shied value in one campaign will be 3,000,000,000 (the shield value / amount of regions).
The value of the shield is divided into 5 battles thus the shield value in each round is 600,000,000.
Each division gets different amount of percentage from the shield capacity:
1st Division (5%): 30,000,000 damage needed to break the shield in each round.
2nd Division (10%): 60,000,000 damage needed to break the shield in each round.
3rd Division (15%): 90,000,000 damage needed to break the shield in each round.
4th Division (70%): 420,000,000 damage needed to break the shield in each round.
